Plymouth Fireworks
Thursday 10th August  2017

Plymouth is again preparing to host the internationally renowned British Firework  Championships.

Over two evenings  (Wed & Thurs) more than four tonnes of fireworks will be set off over Plymouth Sound,   lighting up the skies as the country’s top pyrotechnics companies battle it out for the coveted   national title of British Firework   Champions.

Each evening 3 companies will be required to produce a 10 minute display and are judged on rhythm,  pattern, creativity and continuity. The fireworks are let off from pontoons in Plymouth Sound, providing a spectacular sight for the thousands that gather on the Hoe. Our coach will drop us off near the Theatre Royal so it’s a short walk up to the Hoe. Please note we leave  immediately after the firework display as soon as everyone is back on the coach. Those who have been with us over the last few years will know how convenient it is to go by coach especially when you see the long, long queues for the park and ride buses.

Coach Fare £12.00 Depart Forde Park 19.45 (tbc) then Railway Station, D’Arcy Court, Exeter Road,    Ashburton Road & Bickington if required

Please remember we can’t guarantee the weather or any circumstances which may arise. This event is free and the cost is for coach only.
