BBC Bristol Tour

BBC Bristol – the regional television centre for the West of England.

Come &  hear how television and radio programmes are made at Bristol, now and in the past, and have the chance to visit the interactive studio where you can have a go at presenting the news and weather and star in your own radio drama, complete with sound effects.

Visitors have the chance to see the Points West studio and Radio Bristol studios and you might also visit the rooftop garden outside studio from where the Points West weather forecast is sometimes broadcast.

Your well-informed and entertaining guides will give you an insight into the many programmes produced here, such as Antiques Roadshow, Countryfile, The Food Programme and Flog It! as well as the Natural History Unit's programmes such as Springwatch.
 
Your tour starts at 12.45 and lasts  approx 1.45 hours and contains quite a bit of walking & standing.
 
Places are limited so please book early.
 
Please note that after your tour you will need to make your own way back into Bristol, the bus stops outside the BBC  for those with a bus pass or you can walk down through Clifton in your own time.


Coach departs Forde Park 09.00 followed by pickups at Railway Station (park side) B&Q Next & Greenhill Way route Kingsteignton & Exeter Services.
