Morning departure with coffee/lunch stop at Sanders Garden World before heading to Reading and our hotel, Hilton Reading to change & freshen up before departing for London.
A chance to get something to eat before the coach drops us off at the Royal Albert Hall.
The Mountbatten Festival of Music starts at 19.30 and features the Massed Bands of Her Majesty's Royal Marines performing a wide variety of music, encompassing traditional military marches and fanfares, a classical overture and music from stage and screen. All profits from this annual event are distributed to a number of Charities, with the main charity being The Sargent Cancer Care for children.
Saturday
Perhaps use the leisure facilities before enjoying a good Hilton breakfast before we depart to Weybridge and Mercedes Benz World where driving is their first passion, but it's not all they have to offer. There’s something for
everyone including
exhibitions and displays that give you an amazing insight into the
heritage, innovation and engineering behind Mercedes-Benz.
Guided tours are available on a first come first served basis at 11.30 & 14.00 for a small fee. After watching a precision driving display by the Silver Arrows how about a passenger ride in one of the cars with a member of the display team (approx £15 per person)
Also on the site is Brooklands Museum (entry extra) for those who are interested in motoring, there are cars & motorcyles on display as well as aircraft including a Concorde.
