Sunday
Morning departure with coffee stop enroute to Winchester.
Their Christmas Market is gaining popularity year by year
and now attracts more than 350,000 visitors each year. The pretty wooden
chalets are situated in the Cathedral’s historic Close surrounding an
open-air real ice rink. All exhibitors have been hand-picked for
their interesting, high quality and unique products many of which can’t
be bought on the high street.
At the far end of the British Crafts Village you will find an enchanting
nativity scene – providing an ideal opportunity to share the Christmas
story and take a fun photograph for Christmas. Don't forget you can visit the Cathedral (admission applies) - please check for any services taking place
Overnight at Hilton Doubletree Swindon
Monday
Enjoy a good breakfast to set us up for our second day of Christmas Markets. Today Bath should be much quieter and gives everyone a chance to look around the stalls at leisure. The Christmas Market in Bath is like Winchester centered by the Abbey so everything is central. If you have had enough of Christmas markets, there are the Roman Baths or Abbey to visit (admission rates apply).
