Wednesday
Morning departure with coffee/comfort stop enroute.
On our way to Liverpool we will visit The National Memorial Arboretum, the UK's Centre of Remembrance which is set in 150 acres of trees and gardens. To visit all the Memorial's would take all day but this will give you a taster and you can visit some of the main ones. It is very difficult to describe to anyone, people usually think of it as just a Forces Memorial but there are all different ones and the reaction is usually one of amazement of the site and Memorials.
Our hotel is the 4* Marriott Liverpool City Centre.

Thursday
In the morning we start with a guided tour, this will Orientate
you with the area.
The afternoon is free to do as you wish. As there is so much to do and everyone has different tastes you can choose what you would like to do. Perhaps visit to one or both Cathedrals. Located either end of the aptly-named Hope Street, Liverpool Anglican
Cathedral and Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King (Catholic) are
vastly different in architecture but both majestic and beautiful. The Anglican Cathedral
has Tours of the Tower. (Please note the Tower is open to the public most days, it is accessible by two consecutive lifts followed by 108 stairs). The Catholic Cathedral opened in 1967 with its modern,
circular design, modern works of art and glorious multi-coloured
windows.
Dating from the 1930s, the majestic barrel vaults of
fine brickwork and granite pillars in the original Lutyens Crypt offer a
sharp contrast in architectural styles.
The Liverpool Queesnway Mersey Tunnel tour offers an experience and is an engineering masterpiece, a unique behind the scenes tour where you will be guided under the Mersey.
The Beatles Story, a tour through the Beatles lives with fascinating memorabilia of the Fab Four.
