A day trip to Cornwall

We catch the 09.07 train which should arrive into Penzance approx 11.40.

Catch one of the local buses with your bus pass if you have one, regular buses to Lands End, this is also the bus  for anyone wanting to go to Porthcurno Museum of global communications,  St. Ives, St. Just  this bus for anyone wanting to get off at NT Trengwainton gardens,  NT Saint Michaels Mount, entry needs to be pre-booked and be warned it  has very even paths and check tide times,  just make sure you are back in time for the 17.50 return train.    

We return on the 17.50 train which should arrive Newton Abbot approx 20.30

Cost of train  ticket

1st class return with senior railcard £25.00

1st class return with no railcard £35.00

There is limited availability at this special rate.

2nd class no railcard buy your own tickets on the day £25.40

Please note these train tickets are fixed for the time stated and can't be changed.

You have to make your own way to/from attractions, bus passes accepted.  If  booked with senior railcard please remember to take otherwise penalty can be occurred.
