Morning departure with comfort stops enroute to our hotel to change and make our way into London and Royal Albert Hall for this special evening concert.  The coach will drop us off in the Kensington area for you to make your choice of where to eat before the concert at 19.00.  All seats in the Stalls (downstairs)

Please note 6 songs will be sung in Welsh

 

Sunday

      After breakfast we make our way to one of the National Trusts jewel in the crown - Waddesdon Manor,  built by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild between 1874 and 1885 to display his collection of arts and to entertain his friends. Built resembling a French Renaissance château, inspired by those in the Loire valley.

Hopefully their wonderful display of tulips will still be out.

Festival Of Massed Male Choirs

 

MASSED CHORAL CONCERT AT THE

ROYAL ALBERT HALL, LONDON

 

The Welsh Association of Male Choirs is holding its tri-annual massed choral event at the Royal Albert Hall, London on Saturday the 27th April, 2024

 

This event was postponed from 2021 due to the COVID pandemic.

 

650 choristers from 23 Male Voice Choirs will perform in support of Prostate Cymru.

 

The Conductor is Dr Alwyn Humphreys MBE, accompanied by pianist Caradog Williams. The organist is Association President, Huw Tregelles Williams MBE

 

The soloists will be tenor Osian Wyn Bowen, cellist Steffan Morris and Ladies Choir, Parti Llwchwr.
