TREBAH GARDENS MILITARY DAY

A sub-tropical paradise with a stunning coastal backdrop.

This beautiful Cornish valley garden with over four miles of footpath & very own secluded beach on the Helford River

 

Today is  a day of  celebration and remembrance for the American 29th Infantry Division who left for the Normandy Landings from Trebah beach.  A family day rich in history featuring military vehicles, performances as well as the Kernow Pipe and Drums. On the beach there will be a short memorial service.

 

Please note the gardens are in a steep valley and may be unsuitable for the less abled.

 

Coach departs Forde Park 09.00 (tbc)followed by pickups Railway Station (parkside) & Ashburton Road route out of Newton Abbot
