The Tank Museum in Dorset tells the story of tanks and the men who served in them, through the powerful exhibitions, over 300 vehicles & 100 years of armoured warfare. It holds the broadest & most historically significant collection of tanks in the world including, the world's first tank 'Little Willie'
the infamous German Tiger tank and the current British Main Battle Tank - Challenger 2.
Today there should be 'Tanks in Action', so you can see tanks roll into action during a 30 minute entertaining display. Feel the ground shake and learn how tanks are used in battle. Lifelike explosions, thundering engines & expert commentary.
Also only bookable on the day are vehicle rides, so you can experience for yourself the thrill of riding in a tracked vehicle. A working example of military hardware which seats 16 people at a time. Cost £4 per person.
