MOUNTBATTEN FESTIVAL OF MUSIC BY HM ROYAL MARINES @ ROYAL ALBERT HALL +

READING MUSEUM & BOAT TRIP AT HENLEY 

Friday 20th/Saturday 21st March 2026

The Mountbatten Festival of Music features the Massed Bands of HisMajesty’s Royal Marines.

These concerts display the outstanding versatility of some of the world’s finest military musicians and are given the “West End” treatment with spectacular lighting effects and are always a sell out. 

The Festival sees the Royal Marines showcase their incredible musicianship and pageantry and features a wide range of musical styles, including music from the big screen and superb solo items, as well as the traditional marches and overtures that have proved such a hit with audiences over the years.

Proceeds go to The Royal Marines Charity and CLIC Sargent.

 

 

Friday

Morning departure with comfort stops enroute to our hotel and early dinner before making our way into London and Royal Albert Hall for evening concert.  All seats are downstairs in the Stalls

 

Saturday

After breakfast we travel a short distance to Reading Museum to view   Britains famous full size Victorian replica of the Bayeux Tapestry in its magnificent entirety 70 metres long.  Afterwhich we travel to Henley on Thames for you to get a snack/lunch before we board our boat for approx 2 hour boat trip.

As its out of season there will be no ccatering/bar on board however we can take our own refreshments & Richard might be able to supply a drink or two if you are nice to him. .
