Highgrove is the private residence of TRH The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, near Tetbury in Gloucestershire. Since 1980 when the Prince of Wales first arrived at Highgrove, His Royal Highness has devoted much energy to transforming the gardens around the house, which are renowned as some of the most inspiring and innovative in the United Kingdom.
The Royal Gardens are by guided tours on selected dates.
All profits made by Highgrove from the sale of garden tours, events and products are donated to The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Foundation, a grant-making trust that aims to transform lives and build sustainable communities by supporting a wide range of causes, from culture and heritage, to young people and education.
Tours last approx 2 hours & cover about 2 miles and are lead by a Highgrove guide.
Visitors with walking difficulties should be aware that garden routes are unmade and bumpy. We therefore suggest that all
guests wear sturdy shoes, wellingtons or walking boots, as tours do continue during wet weather. Please note there are no seating facilities in the gardens, however the gardens are mobility scooter and wheelchair friendly. (When accompanied by a strong companion.) There is no photography allowed.
There will be security bag searches & photographic ID will be required. No smoking or eating on the estate.
Coach departs 08.45 Forde Park, followed by pickups at Railway Station (park side) B&Q, Next Greenhill Way, Warecross & Exeter Services
