EXETER CANAL BOAT TRIP + AFTERNOON DRIVE

Opened in 1566 this 6-mile-long canal was originally 16 feet wide and 3-foot-deep but was extended in 1701 to allow for larger crafts. It is the first canal to be built in Britain since Roman times and the oldest working shipping canal in Europe linking Exeter and Exmouth.
Join us for this one way boat trip from Exmouth to Exeter. Boat departs Exmouth at 11.00. When we get to Exeter Quay you will have a chance to get lunch or if you've bought a picnic sit outside and enjoy or look around at the different shops.
In the afternoon we will enjoy a mystery coach trip before returning to Newton Abbot.
Coach departs Forde Park 09.30 followed by pickups at Railway Station (park side) B&Q Kingsteignton Road, Next & Greenhill Way route Kingsteignton.
