THE  WALLED GARDENS AT CANNINGTON  & CLARKS VILLAGE

TUESDAY 2ND AUGUST 2022

The Walled Gardens at Cannington is part of Bridgwater & Taunton College & lie within the grounds of a medieval priory and many of its fine buildings, including the walls of the garden remain.   The gardens have both classic and contemporay features + a botanical glasshouse.   They have tea rooms and plant sales, were they  offer a large selection of herbaceous perennials, shrubs, trees, herbs, succulents and house plants at very competitive prices. All plants are grown on site by staff, students and volunteers & I believe on Tuesdays there is a discount.

The second part of our day will be an approx 2 hour visit to Clarks Village at Street, the Somerset Outlet Shopping Centre where there are 90 designer and high street brands offering up to 60% off original retail prices every day.  Please note the Clarks shoe museum closed in 2019.

 

Coach departs Newton Abbot 09.30 from Forde Park with pickups Railway Station (park side) B&Q,  Next Greenhill Way,  Warecross & Exeter Services if required.
